Accessibility
Our commitment to an accessible Clipcaptor.
Last updated: July 2026
Making video usable and understandable for everyone is part of Clipcaptor's product, not just its marketing site. This page describes the standard we build toward and how to reach us if something falls short.
Our standard
We build toward WCAG 2.2 AA across the product and marketing site: full keyboard navigation, visible focus states, semantic headings and landmarks, screen-reader labels on interactive controls, and sufficient color contrast in both light and dark themes.
Captions by design
Accessibility is core to what we make, not an afterthought. Accurate, automatically generated captions on every clip make video usable for deaf and hard-of-hearing audiences by default, and our style presets are built to keep contrast and timing readable rather than purely decorative.
Keyboard and screen reader support
Every workflow in the editor, from uploading footage to approving a clip, is operable without a mouse, and interactive components (menus, dialogs, the timeline) use standard ARIA patterns so they announce correctly in screen readers like VoiceOver and NVDA.
Reduced motion
Marketing pages and in-app animations respect your operating system's “reduce motion” setting, replacing transitions and auto-playing effects with simpler, instant state changes where possible.
Ongoing testing
We test key flows with keyboard-only navigation and screen readers as part of our review process, and we track accessibility issues with the same priority as functional bugs.
Feedback
Found a barrier or something that doesn't work well with assistive technology? Email accessibility@clipcaptor.com with the page and what happened, and we'll prioritize a fix.
