Terms of Service

1. Using Clipcaptor

You must be at least 13 years old to use Clipcaptor. If you are under 18, you may only use the Service with the involvement of a parent or guardian. You're responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account, including activity by teammates you invite to a shared workspace. Let us know immediately at hello@clipcaptor.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

2. Subscriptions and billing

• Clipcaptor plans are billed in advance on a recurring monthly or annual basis, depending on the plan and cycle you select.
• Payments are processed securely through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your chosen payment method for the plan, credit packs, and any applicable taxes.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel anytime from billing settings; your access continues until the end of the current paid period.
• Credit packs and other one-time purchases are billed at the time of purchase and are consumed as you generate clips, captions, and exports.
• Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or as set out in our Refund Policy.

3. Your content

You retain all rights to the videos, audio, and other material you upload (“Source Content”) and to the clips, captions, and other output Clipcaptor generates from it (“Generated Content”). You grant us a limited, worldwide license to host, process, transmit, and display Source Content and Generated Content solely to provide, maintain, and improve the Service, including operating the AI models that power clip detection, captioning, and reframing. You're responsible for having the rights necessary to upload your Source Content and for how you use and publish Generated Content.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Upload content you don't have the rights to use, or content that infringes someone else's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.
• Use the Service to produce unlawful, deceptive, defamatory, or harmful material, including non-consensual or misleading synthetic media.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other users' accounts or workspaces, or the systems and networks behind it.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service, including through excessive automated requests.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the underlying models or source code of the Service, except as permitted by law.
• Resell or provide the Service to third parties as your own product without our written permission.

We may suspend or remove content, and suspend or terminate accounts, that violate these rules.

5. AI-generated output

Clipcaptor uses automated systems to detect clip-worthy moments, generate captions and transcripts, reframe footage, and suggest b-roll. This output is produced algorithmically and, like any AI system, can occasionally be inaccurate, mistimed, or miss context, particularly with unusual audio, accents, or source quality. You're responsible for reviewing Generated Content before you publish or rely on it, and Clipcaptor makes no guarantee of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular use.

6. Intellectual property

The Service itself, including its software, models, design, branding, and documentation, is owned by YACOSMART LTD and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms don't grant you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or brand features beyond what's needed to reasonably refer to Clipcaptor (for example, crediting clips you've made with it).

7. Third-party platforms

Clipcaptor's Social Scheduler and publishing tools integrate with third-party platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and X. Your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms and policies, and we're not responsible for changes they make to their APIs, formats, or policies that affect how your content performs or publishes.

8. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time from account settings. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you breach these Terms, fail to pay applicable fees, or if required to do so by law. On termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately, though provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive (billing you already owe, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability) will continue to apply.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated output will meet your expectations.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, YACOSMART LTD will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, or data, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, even if we've been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to their conflict-of-law principles. You and YACOSMART LTD agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales for any dispute arising out of or in connection with the Service or these Terms, unless applicable local law requires otherwise.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you by posting the updated Terms on this page, updating the “Last updated” date, and, where appropriate, emailing account holders. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
